There are so many sellers right now debating on whether or not to take the plunge and put their home on the market. If you're like them, your primary concern is price. Lots of sellers say, "I'm not giving it away!". Well, I don't blame you.
Do some market research yourself before you think about hiring a Realtor. Check out www.zillow.com for an estimate on your home's potential sales price. Check out www.trulia.com for comparison tables similar to Zillow. Both are great tools to help with your decision.
But, choosing a Realtor is one of the most important decisions you can make in this process. It's not just about price. It's about marketing, statistics, production, teamwork, reputation and personality, to name a few.
You owe it to yourself, and to your equity, to interview Realtors. Make a list of questions most important to you, and ask away. As Realtors, we're all in business for ourselves, and will have our own success plan for getting your home sold. Go with the Realtor who you feel will listen to you, understand your needs, and give you their top performance.
If a home is priced and marketed correctly from the start, it should sell within 45 days. No matter what the market conditions are.
Send me an email and I'll give you a list of recent sales activity in your neighborhood and don't worry, there are NO strings attached :)
Oh, and if you'd like to save 10% at Lowe's, just send me your address and I'll send it out!
