Looking for somewhere to celebrate the holiday this weekend? Here is a list of a few places to find some fun and fireworks. Have a great 4th!
Friday:
Hernando Picnic and Parade – Families can parade around the town square starting at 7:00PM. Stay after the parade for a movie on the lawn with free refreshments
Saturday:
AutoZone Park - The Redbirds take on the Round Rock Express beginning at 6:05PM and will include a special tribute to our troops. Stick around for fireworks after the game.
Bartlett Fireworks Extravaganza – The fun begins at Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center at Highway 79 and Appling Road at 6:30PM with fireworks starting at 9:30PM.
Collierville Independence Day Celebration – Festivities begin at 5:30PM at H.W. Cox Park located at 350 W. Powell Road in Collierville with a fireworks show at 9:30PM
Firecracker 5K Run/Walk - The 11th annual Firecracker 5K Run/Walk will begin at 7:00PM at The Racquet Club of Memphis. Proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Sunday:
Red, White, and Blue Search Party at CMOM - Head over to the Children's Museum of Memphis at 3:00PM for a patriotic scavenger hunt for the whole family. Admission is $10 for anyone age 1 or older.
Red, White, and Blues Celebration - The Red, White, and Blues Celebration will be held at Handy Park on Beale Street and will include food, music, and entertainment. The festivities begin at 6:00PM with fireworks at 10:00PM.
Germantown Family Fourth Celebration -This family friendly celebration includes food, fireworks, and music. The fun starts at 5:00PM. at Municipal Park and fireworks will begin at 9:10PM.
Independence Day in Olive Branch - The Annual July 4th "Celebrate Your Independence" event at the Olive Branch City Park will begin at 5:00PM. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy food, games, and fun!
Southaven July 4th Celebration - This year's celebration will be held at Snowden Grove Park. There will be live music, a fabulous fireworks display, and fun for the entire family! The fireworks display will begin at dusk.
