Inspirational Story About a First-time Homebuyer

Tom is a buddy of mine; he talks all the time about his great job in downtown Memphis and how much he loves the energy of the city. Where he lived, however, was a different story. Tom's apartment was horrible; the roof leaked, the windows leaked, it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

As far as the neighborhood went, well, Tom's car was broken into so many times that he finally just left the windows down and the car empty. He told me he wanted to move into a better neighborhood, but he knew that he couldn't afford it. I told him to call a Realtor from The Carstensen Team, just to go over his options.

Tom talked to a Realtor, and she told him that his dream of a quiet house in Lakeland or Cordova was not out of reach, and with options available to him like buying foreclosures or short sales, he could afford more than he thought possible.

Fast-forward to today, and Tom lives in his dream house in Arlington. It's quiet, it's safe, and he parks his car securely in his garage. Tom called a Realtor, and he got his dream. For more information, please visit us at www.justlistedhousesinmemphis.com
